FAQ

What are Warbots?

Warbots are NFTs that reside on the Polygon network. They are the main player-controlled characters in the Micro Machines - Rise of the Warbots game. When first minted, they arrive in amorphous form and require $NMAC to active them so that they take on shape and attributes. This activation process produces a randomized Warbot NFT. Both the type of Warbot and the parts it contains can differ, so there is a chance you'll mint a very rare Warbot!

How do I get a Warbot?

  1. You can stake $MMAC to acquire Warbots. See our Staking $MMAC for Warbot NFTs guide.

  2. You can purchase a Warbot in amorphous form and activate it yourself using $NMAC and Dicesium Batteries tokens, or purchase an already activated Warbot. Both can be purchased in the Marketplace from Dealers.

  3. You can play with a prototype Warbot (non upgradable) and collect drops from battles and eventually gather the parts necessary to repair it into a full Warbot. This will require $NMAC tokens.

  4. You can lease a Warbot from a dealer. At the end of the lease if you do not return the Warbot to the Dealer it will be labeled as Up for Repossession. Repo Warbots will then battle the Leased Warbot, and if you lose then the Warbot will be returned to the Dealer. If you win then you retain ownership until you lose to a Repo Warbot.

  5. You can Burn 1 Full $MMAC token and receive 4 Amorphous Warbots in return.

How Do I upgrade a Warbot?

In order to upgrade a Warbot you need to have 2 of the same level Warbots to combine. This requires $NMAC and Dicesium Batteries tokens. You select the Warbot that you want to upgrade and then the one you want for parts. The parts Warbot will be burned in the transaction, thereby increasing scarcity and it makes sure the market isn’t flooded with Warbots.

Higher levels will require many level 1 Warbots, essentially creating a Warbot economy. To get to a level 5 Warbot requires 16 level 1 Warbots, level 6 requires 32 Level 1 Warbots. Level 20 requires 524288 Level 1 Warbots.

What are Nano NFTs?

Nano NFTs are special NFT cards that are generated when a Warbot is Minted. They go to the Marketplace for purchase using NMAC tokens and can also be picked up as drops in the game. Nano NFTs can be Weapons or special abilities.

Nano NFTs can be used during a battle as a one time use and then are burned. They can also be housed on a Warbot in the Warbot’s Nano Slot. Higher level Warbots have more Nano Slots. Warhelms also have Nano Slots.

What Are Warhelms?

Warhelms are NFTS that the player owns that Store XP, add bonuses to Warbots and contain Nano Slots. Higher Level Warhelms allow the player to control more warbots in battles.

How do I stake MMAC?

  1. If your $MMAC are on BSC, you'll need to bridge them over to MATIC

  2. Open MetaMask and make sure you're on the MATIC network

  3. Head over to the staking app

  4. Enter the number of $MMAC you wish to stake and adjust the slider to the number of periods

  5. Approve the txn

  6. Once the approval is done, click the stake button!

What are NMAC?

$NMAC are NanoMachines tokens. These tokens are on the MATIC network and will be the in-game currency for the game, required for game play, purchasing Nano NFTs, and activation of Warbots. NMAC can be purchased and staked for. All game earnings will be issued in NanoMachines. More details can be found in the NanoMachines ($NMAC) section.

What are Dicesium Batteries?

Dicesium Batteries are a token required for game randomization. They are the payment to the oracle which randomizes all battle calls, warbot activation type, and warbot stats. You can purchase them with Matic (1 MATIC = 100 Dicesium Batteries). More details can be found in the Dicesium Batteries section.
